What is meditation?

Meditation is a structured practice of quieting the mind and cultivating inner peace.

Through various techniques such as focused attention, visualisation, or body scanning, we can train our minds to be still and reach a state of deep relaxation and mental clarity.  Meditation can also be referred to as formal mindfulness practice.
